Determined to revolutionize the travel business in Nigeria, Flyzone Tourism has strategically sought avenues to streamline visa procedures and connect Nigerian travel agencies with global tourism boards.
Mr. Awomoi Ayodeji, Chief Executive Officer of Flyzone Tourism, disclosed this in an interview on the sidelines of the Akwaaba African Travel Market held at Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos, adding that the company’s success is widespread. This is thanks to its extensive network and relationships with tourism boards around the world.
According to Ayodeji, “Founded in 2018, Flyzone Tourism leverages its extensive network and relationships with tourism boards around the world to simplify visa applications for travel agents in Nigeria. With over 8,900 agents in its database, Flyzone has expanded its services to Kenya and Dubai through franchise partnerships.
“We have also streamlined visa procedures and cooperation with governments for destinations such as Rome.
“We are also currently working with the government. We want to start working with the government on a long-term basis. We are in Enugu together. Another person took me to Kano And we’re still talking about visas, because it’s hard to build trust if you don’t stay in an area of expertise that you’ve known for years.
“We have a high level of trust and integrity in Flyzone Tourism. We don’t say we can’t do it. That’s why we don’t do everything.
Commenting on the impact on the Akwaba Africa travel market and fly zone, Ayodeji explained: Connection means meeting people one-on-one. You may have a product, but if people don’t know about it, it won’t go anywhere. That’s why I often say that a bad product with poor marketing will sell better than a good product that is well made but poorly marketed.
“Akwaaba has helped travel agents, airlines, hotels and tour operators connect with each other. People may not know much about these airlines and hotels, but here we are. You can get to know each other.
“Akwaaba is a platform that connects various tourism brands, embassies, tour operators and travel agencies.
Mr Ayo praised Akwaaba’s role in fostering industry connectivity. “Akwaaba brings together tourism brands, embassies, tour operators and travel agencies, creating opportunities for growth.”
Commenting on the award, Ayodeji said he was recently appointed as an ambassador by the ECOWAS Youth Council.
According to him, “This is a commendable precedent for my dedication and diligence in the field of service to humanity and my commendable work as an advocate and relentless campaigner for the advancement of African youth.” It is related to
