Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Chief Ayodele, said President Tinubu’s government has no solution to Nigeria’s economic problems.
Primate Ayodele, in a statement signed on Friday by his media aide, Mr. Osho Oluwatosin, said the economic condition of Nigeria is hypertensive.
The cleric explained that Nigeria will continue to struggle until there is an economic reset, which may not be possible under the current government.
“This government only works but there are no solutions. Until the economy restarts, things are going to be difficult. I am sorry because Nigerians will continue to face this situation until God knows.” I think so.
“Mr Tinubu and others on the economic team understand that there are no solutions, that there are serious challenges and that a different formula is needed to reset the economy.”
He said Nigerians should expect an increase in taxes on basic things in the coming days.
He further explained the stages that the Nigerian economy will go through apart from reset.
“This government will continue to tax Nigerians on basic things, but they will not get solutions.
“The economy is tough right now. It goes into a contraction phase, then it goes into a processing phase, then it bursts and finally it collapses. These are the stages our economy goes through.
“Don’t let people take food out of garbage cans. We are in a time of economic hardship. The Nigerian economy will have high blood pressure.”
