“Information available to me also reveals that there is a last-ditch plan to use NGOs as bait to siphon state funds in the name of supporting NGO projects and activities.
“These actions undermine the financial stability of our country and the potential security for the future of the Edo state. I dissociate myself and my office from such transactions.”
He said there were reports of indiscriminate and secret appointments to civil servants and civil servants at exorbitant grade levels.
