The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, along with the National Working Committee, has appointed various sub-committees to lead the party’s campaign in the Ondo State governorship election scheduled for November 16th. The installation was announced.
In the list released on Monday and signed by APC National Organizing Secretary-General Sulaiman Argungu, key individuals were appointed to head various committees.
Former Osun State governor, Mr. Bisi Akande, will chair the elders committee, supported by former Ondo State governorship candidate, Mr. Pius Akinyelure as vice-chairman.
Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State will head the Finance Committee, with Senate President Godswill Akpabio as vice-chairman.
Meanwhile, Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni has been appointed as the Chairman of the Media and Publicity Committee with the support of Information Minister Idris Mohammed.
Regarding security, Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum will be the chairman and Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya will be the vice-chairman.
“The National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umaru Ganduje, in consultation with the National Working Committee, has approved the composition of the Ondo State Governor National Movement Council,” the APC statement stressed.
The inauguration of the council will be held on October 28th at the International Events Center (The Dome) in Akure, Ondo State.
Recall that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has been appointed Chairman of the National Athletic Council and tasked with leading a team of 305 members.
