The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jigawa State has announced action against any group attempting to create crisis or factionalism within the party.
The party claimed that certain individuals who are bent on causing a crisis within the party are carrying out smear campaigns.
This was stated in a release signed by party chairman Aminu Sani Gumel.
Gumel said the party is closely monitoring various posts on social media and mainstream media that indicate calculated attempts by some unscrupulous elements to create chaos within the APC.

The Chairman said the APC-led government in Jigawa State under the leadership of Governor Mallam Umaru Namadi reflects the values and continuity of the previous state administration led by Alhaji Muhammad Badal Abubakar. added.

The statement added that a faceless group with no record with the APC headquarters in Jigawa State has made numerous false allegations against the minister, including accusations of anti-party activities.
