Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s media aide, Paul Ibe, has said Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike is trying to crush the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Mr Ibe said Mr Wike was working for the government of President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) to destroy the PDP.
He made the claim Monday while speaking on Channels Television’s Monday edition of “Politics Today.”
Mr Atiku’s aide added that apart from the PDP, the APC was also trying to use Mr Wike as a tool to undermine other opposition parties, including the Labor Party (LP).
Ibe said: “I reiterate that the process of bringing the party back from the brink is still underway. You know what is happening with the PDP, so let us stop using the PDP as a benchmark.
“As you and I and all Nigerians know, the PDP has become a playground for the APC to destroy the opposition. Not only the PDP but even the Labor Party are using the FCT Minister. is Friday's man on a mission.
“His mission is to destroy the PDP. He uses his tongue to count the teeth. That is the only mission given to him in the PDP, to destroy it. Moga knows that.”
