All Progressives Congress (APC) leader Joe Igbokwe has advised those harboring presidential ambitions in 2027 to shelve their aspirations.
In a Facebook post, Igbokwe claimed that there will be no vacancy for a new president in 2027.
The APC chief stressed that Tinubu will continue to be the occupier of Aso Rock beyond 2027.
He writes: There will be no openings in Aso Rock until PBAT clears the huge and monumental Augean Stable that it has accumulated over the years. Nigeria is being rebuilt to work again. ”
This comes as Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last election, and Peter Obi of the Labor Party are planning to form an alliance to unseat Tinubu in 2027. It was done amid speculation.
APC chief warns against mob violence against Tinubu
Meanwhile, All Progressives Congress (APC) leader Joe Igbokwe has claimed that there are gangs working against President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Naija News recently reported that the debate on the 2027 elections has gained momentum, with mixed opinions coming from the northern part of the country.
In a post on his Facebook page, Igbokwe warned Nigerians that the heads of the alleged gang against Tinubu had called them.
However, the APC leader expressed confidence that President Tinubu will overcome obstacles to win re-election.
He writes: “A weird/twisted gang showed up against PBAT in 2027. They called my phone.
“The callers even mentioned the names of the conspirators and I laughed until my eyes watered. They don’t know about PBAT.”
