Wunmi vehemently denied Mobad’s allegations of alleged substance abuse, describing him as a responsible husband, son and friend. She shared fond memories of their lives together, including her ambitious plans for her son Liam and his desire to move him from Nigeria for a brighter future.
Wunmi’s stepmother encouraged her to understand and grow up with Liam’s father’s legacy. Despite her grief, Wunmi has committed to seeking justice for Mohbad, and died on September 12, 2023, causing widespread anger and continued investigation.
