Dylan Odeyemi, a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) national executive committee, and Anslem Elaghbe, the leader of the Labour Party, warned former vice president Atiq Abubakar against the 2027 presidential election.
Naija News reports that Eragbe denounced Atiku for challenging the 2023 presidential election in an interview with Punch on Sunday.
He said that Nigeria’s former vice president Atik knows Nigerian power drills and equations, and emphasizes that the 2027 presidency should remain in southern Nigeria and be zoned to the north and south regions. .
Eragbe noted that North and South spent a minimum number of years in the presidential seats when compared to other geological and political zones in the country.
He also asked political parties to identify trustworthy politicians to raise the flags of various choice offices, regardless of their financial situation, and 2027 would be another opportunity to correct past mistakes. I emphasized it.
He said, “Atik was a turn in southern Nigeria, so we are not going to challenge the 2023 presidential election. It is the turn in southern until 2031.
“Eight years as a former Nigerian vice president. Atik knows Nigerian power drills and equations. He should help young Nigerians come to power and provide guidance in 2027.
“It should be further microzoned into the (invalid) Midwest region. I mean the abolished Bendel, as stated by the present Edo and Delta. We have a major political party. We hope we do this for fairness, justice, fairness and equality.
“However, if President Bora Tinubu wins the 2027 presidential election and continues until 2031, power will return to northern Nigeria.
“The region we deemed to be the least numbered in Nigeria is the south-south, only five years under Goodluck Jonathan, and should once again control Nigeria from 2027.
“When constructed, North Central spent a total of 17 years, 11 months, northwest, 17 years, three months. Northeast, 10 years, three months. Southwest, 15 years, Tinubu was appointed to the term of office in May 2027. It was four months to finish. The Southeast spent five years and nine months north and south. The North and South are the only regions that spend only five years in the presidential seat.”
Similarly, Odeyemi, LP Chieftain, said Atiku’s participation in the 2023 presidential election and his perceived ambitions in 2027 were the source of the PDP crisis.
He accused Atik of burying his ambitions, adding that the party’s crisis will end after the former vice president failed to declare interest in 2027.
He said: “The 2023 election was originally supposed to be among the Southerns. Northern President Muhammadu Buhari had only been in office for eight years, but Atik had insisted on exercising his rights. , which is why there is a crisis in PDPs.”
