Governor Peter Mba of Enugu State has praised the resilience of Nigerians in the face of hardship, saying there is hope for the country in the years ahead.
The governor called on the people to remain hopeful and maintain unity in the country as the government’s efforts to reposition the country will eventually bear fruit.
Mr Mbaha stated these in a goodwill message to the people of Enugu State and Nigerians to mark the 64th anniversary of independence on Tuesday.
“I congratulate Mr. Ndi Enugu and all Nigerians as we celebrate the milestone of 64 years of Nigeria’s independence.
“I admire their resilient spirit and patriotic fervor and advise them not to be discouraged by today’s challenges. Difficulties disappear in the face of unfailing optimism,” he said. .
The governor went on to declare: “Hope springs eternal!” There is certainly light at the end of the tunnel, especially given our dear president’s strong determination to turn things around. ”
He appealed to Nigerians to continue to support the government and show absolute unity, saying, “Indeed, our independence and the decades that follow will be filled with much more if we remain united.” We are proving that we can achieve this.”
The governor wished Ndi Enugu and all Nigerians well on this 64th Independence Day.
