The United Nations Development Program Global Environment Facility Small Grants Program (UNDP GEF SGP) has assured Nigeria of continued support for environmental sustainability projects to ensure a healthy environment.
The UNDP GEF SGP National Coordinator, Mr. Ibironke Olubamise, made this assertion in a recent interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja.
Environmental experts said the UNDP GEF SGP will continue to support pilot projects to ensure a healthy environment.
“One of the things we do in our office is support environmental initiatives through SGP, which typically tops out at around $50,000 for a project.
