Port Harcourt: Voting has begun in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, local government council elections in the state
Voting has started in Emofua Local Government, NlMgbueto, Community, Ward 4, Unit 3, 025.
Voting began at 8:30 a.m. when election officials arrived.
As of press time, the process was occurring peacefully with no presence of police or other security personnel.
Omenihu Jackson, a city council candidate from the Action People’s Party APP, said after voting at Unit 3 that the process was peaceful.
He said: “The election was peaceful. People are behaving well and the process is going well. I voted.
