A new way to share songs on iOS 18.1

Apple is introducing a new feature to Apple Music in the iOS 18.1 Beta 6 update that will allow users to easily share their favorite songs on TikTok.

Here’s what we know

The developer update adds a new button for sharing songs. Tapping this button will open TikTok and display a card containing the song you selected.

Users can post and share songs as videos and photos on TikTok. You can also send songs to other people in private messages.

If you select the video option, TikTok will automatically connect the song to your post, allowing other users to hear parts of it while they watch. TikTok does not have the ability to share lyrics.

It is important to note that TikTok is available for free on the App Store.

Additionally, iOS 18.1 will be the first update to include Apple Intelligence features, including notification creation and summarization tools. While some new features are only available on iPhone 15 Pro and newer models, the iOS 18.1 update will be available on all devices that support this version.
