Nollywood actress, Biodun Okewo, better known as Omoborti, has refuted allegations that she stole her husband, Adeniyi Olabiyi, from the daughter of her senior colleague, Lola Idije.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reported that shortly after controversial blogger Gislaver claimed that the curvaceous actress broke up the relationship between a man and Laura’s daughter, the actress dismissed the claims.
Recall, Omoborty officially married her US-based fiance Olabiyi in July this year in a traditional manner.
According to the blog, many of the actress’ colleagues stopped attending the wedding due to the relationship controversy.
Reacting to the allegations, Ms Biodun in a video she shared on Instagram stressed that her senior colleague, Lola Idije, and her daughter did not know her husband, Mr Adeniyi, until he was introduced to her.
She also acknowledged the claim that she accepted Laura as her mother after her biological mother’s death.
The actress also urged some colleagues who were aware of her relationship to publicly clear the air regarding her relationship with Adeniyi before their marriage.
The English and Yoruba speaking actress said, “My husband doesn’t know any of actress Lola Idije’s daughters.In fact, it was through me that actress Lola and my husband first spoke. I didn’t steal anyone’s husband. I was told that you were the sub-poster. Please come out and clear your suspicions.”
