Senator Vice President of the Senate, Senator Bala Ghibril, has donated 61 cars and 1,136 motorcycles to grassroots leaders of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kano State to strengthen the party’s mobilization efforts.
During the presentation, Ghibrill said that motorcycles will be designated as ward chairmen and cars will be assigned to the party’s local government and zone chairs.
Additionally, he announced plans to support university graduates with 5 million loans to help launch small businesses.
According to NAN, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, national chairman of the APC, praised the Ghibril donations, described them as a move to improve the socio-economic well-being of party members and strengthen the party’s vision.
Ganduje also expressed his gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for appointing key APC members from Kano State to minister and major federal positions.
“We are grateful that President Tinubu has made it possible for Dr. Mariya Vancouer to be appointed Minister of the Federal Capital Territories and Alhaji Abdullahi Atta to be appointed Minister of Occupation and Housing.
“We also thank President Tinubu for appointing Rabiu Bich as managing director of the Hadezia River Basin Development Department,” he said.
He reaffirmed Kano State’s commitment to supporting the APC, citing the president’s goodwill to the nation.
Kano’s APC Chair Abdullahi Abbas praised Bala Ghibril’s empowerment initiative and encouraged other politicians to support their members, particularly during Ramadan.
