Ondo State Governor, Lucky Ayedatiwa, has declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has torn the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the November 16 gubernatorial election in the state.
Naija News reports that Mr Ayedatiwa said this while campaigning in Igbobini, Kiribo Igbotu and other communities in Ese-Odo Council area of the state.
The governor, while urging residents to exercise their right to vote for APC in the next election, said his administration had initiated many projects and infrastructure in the state.
Mr Ayedatiwa said all the political gladiators of the PDP are now affiliated with the APC.
He said: “I would like to thank everyone here today for their patience. I salute your love, unity and support for us and the party. I hope to repay this sentiment after the election. Masu.
“Undoubtedly, we have launched many projects and we will continue to do more. Roads, schools and hospitals are in the spotlight. We have also ensured national security.
“We are hiring more teachers in our schools. So come November 16, you must come out in droves and vote for our party (APC) in the elections. yeah.
“We want you to use our votes to oust other political parties.As you know, all the gladiators of PDP are with us now.
“We have torn the umbrella of the main opposition party to shreds.In the coming elections, your vote must go to APC.”
The governor also commended the steadfastness of APC members, noting that their support and loyalty continued to strengthen the ruling party’s strength in the state.
Mr Ayedatiwa added that if retained in power in the elections, his administration would continue to launch further development projects across the state.
