House Committee Chairman (upstream) Alhassan Ado Doguwa has declared that All Progressives Congress (APC) will regain its mandate in the 2027 election.
Naija News has slugs the current position in court with Aba Yusuf, the incumbent governor of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP), during the 2023 election, and has assumed his current position in court with APC candidate Nasir Gauna. It reminds me of that.
During the empowerment programme hosted by Kano’s Senate Vice President, Bala Ziblin, Dogwa expressed confidence in the unity of the state’s APC, saying it would pave the way for the party to regain power.
According to Dogwu, the NNPP will be defeated at Kano by 1pm on Election Day 2027.
He said, “Now, by the unity of our party, by God’s grace, we will regain our mandate at Kano by 1pm on Election Day 2027. The NNPP will be defeated.”
Meanwhile, Ghibril also donated 61 cars and 1,136 motorcycles during the event to grassroots leaders of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kano State to strengthen the party’s mobilization efforts.
During the presentation, Ghibrill said that motorcycles will be designated as ward chairmen and cars will be assigned to the party’s local government and zone chairs.
Additionally, he announced plans to support university graduates with 5 million loans to help launch small businesses.
According to NAN, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, national chairman of the APC, praised the Ghibril donations, described them as a move to improve the socio-economic well-being of party members and strengthen the party’s vision.
Ganduje also expressed his gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for appointing key APC members from Kano State to minister and major federal positions.
