Former national chairman aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Mohammed Saidu Etu, has criticized President Bola Tinubu’s reward system, especially for those who worked hard for his victory in the last election.
Naija News reports that in an interview on Arise TV’s Morning Show, Etsu criticized Tinubu’s decision to appoint Daniel Bwala, a former campaign aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, as Special Adviser on Policy Communication. I frowned.
The APC chief said a person like Mr. Bwala should not have been appointed to government because of Mr. Tinubu’s past actions and statements.
He recalled that Mr. Bwala smeared Mr. Tinubu during the 2023 election but struggled to get appointed to the president’s media circle.
Mr Etu warned Mr Tinubu to adjust himself, adding that the party was losing many core figures.
He said, “It’s not a bad thing for the president to have a press secretary, but as party supporters, we think it’s abnormal to appoint someone who has insulted or defamed the office of the president as press secretary.” ” he said.
“I felt sad for Mr. Bwala who is struggling to be appointed to the Tinubu government. Why would he be part of a government that he has maligned and about which he has said all kinds of bad things? Because I don’t know if they’re struggling for it,” before his appointment.
“I don’t think Mr. Tinubu did a good thing for himself as president by appointing Mr. Bwala to his media circle. People see Mr. Bwala as someone who said a lot about the president. Body.

“When I ran for national chairman of this party, I worked on three criteria: internal party structure, loyalty to the party and remuneration system. And I know Asiwaju very well. Before he was elected president, he always said that people who worked for the party would be rewarded, but today things have changed.
“The president needs to adjust himself because we are losing many core figures in the party.When you talk about bringing enemies closer, it is not people like Bwala who should be appointed to such positions.
“There was someone who called the president all kinds of bad things? He called the president a drug lord and you appointed him? That’s why I want Bwala to get this appointment. I said I thought it was sad that he was having such a hard time.”
