Afrobeats star Ahmed Olorade, popularly known as Asake, has come under heavy criticism after he broke a fan’s iPhone 16 Pro Max in Paris.
A video that went viral on social media captured the moment a fan, identified as Zidane Adeoti, approached the musician to take a photo, but the Afrobeats star became upset and suddenly grabbed his phone and ground him to the ground. I slammed it.
Adeoti, who expressed his feelings on his TikTok page, showed extraordinary loyalty to Asake despite severe damage to his phone.
“@asakemusic You broke my iPhone 16 pro Max. When you react like that to your fans, it’s not because they got angry inside the nightclub. Anyway, I still love you.” ” he wrote.
In response, several social media users dragged the singer’s actions and questioned his treatment of fans. Some demanded that they pay for the repair of their phones.
“If I wake up in the morning and my iPhone 16 pro max E doesn’t pay, I’ll call the police directly,” the user wrote.
Another user, RemaRaver1, wrote: “Asake is an arrogant cvnt. He had no right to destroy that person’s phone. He could have asked him not to take pictures or record him.”
@Royal_Valves wrote: “I like Asake, but this is unacceptable. You broke my phone without compensation?”
Big Chike wrote, “Asake broke an innocent fan’s iPhone 16 and no one says anything about it.”
“But when Rema blocked fans from lifting him during his concert in Benin, you tagged it as arrogance. You can never defeat tribalistic claims .”
Cheeryn Cheery writes: “Fans even ran to IG and said, ‘I broke your phone, but I still love you anyway,’ no, that’s delusional and pure stupidity! Why would you let someone break your phone?” Do people really love to suffer for celebrities?
