ATIKU ABUBAKAR, a candidate for the 2023 PDP (PDP), did not attend the party’s Northeast Zonal Cocas meeting on Thursday.

The discussion at the meeting focused on reconciliation efforts and the future of the party, especially for the 2027 election.
The conference focused on important issues, especially in the future PDP zones and national conventions, and focused on solving internal disputes and strengthening the party as a major opposition.
At the meeting, PDP’s representative, Umaru Ilia Damagun, urged party members to reduce personal interests on the interests of the party.
He also emphasized that the party was larger than any individual.
“Interest is the most important. We all belong to politics for a variety of reasons, but most importantly, only when your political means are strong enough to take you to your destination. You can achieve your goals.

“No one is on the party. We will support and accept members, but if you oppose the interests of the party, we will break up with you,” he said.
In his remarks, BAUCHI Governor Bala Mohammed was the chairman of the PDP Governor Forum and called for a reconciliation within the party.
He suggested to exchange parties as a way to promote the unity of PDP and fight against opinions.
“Gombbe’s position has been transferred to a bunch, the Borno people have been transferred to Jobe, the location of Adamawa is re -assigned to Taraba, and vice versa,” he suggested.
