Baobab + Nigeria has taken a step towards addressing energy issues at Kisi Primary Healthcare Center in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Baobab+ installed a solar lighting system in the medical facility and distributed solar lanterns to all inpatients at the center.

This development is expected to enhance patient care and allow healthcare workers to provide services at night.

Baobab + Nigeria also donated 10 solar lanterns to patients at the medical center, ensuring reliable lighting for their homes. This initiative is in line with Baobab+’s mission to provide clean and sustainable energy solutions to underserved communities as part of its corporate social responsibility efforts.

Baobab+ Group CEO Bodo Lieberman attended the event, along with executives from other Baobab+ countries. The visit reaffirmed the company’s commitment to expanding energy access across Africa. During their stay, the team visited two long-time Baobab + Nigeria customers to share how their solar power systems are improving lives, increasing sales for their companies, and providing reliable energy. .

Mr. Lieberman emphasized: β€œAt Baobab+, we believe that access to energy is a key driver of economic development and improved quality of life. We strive to drive tangible change in the communities we serve. We are proud of what we are bringing and this project is just the beginning of our long-term vision for Nigeria and Africa as a whole.”

Mr. Kolawole Osinowo, CEO of Baobab+ Nigeria, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, saying the company is committed to providing innovative and sustainable energy solutions to improve the daily lives of Nigerians. He also noted the long-term positive feedback from customers and the impact of the solution in the healthcare sector.

Solar lighting at the medical facility will benefit more than 2,000 people accessing medical services, and all patients at Keishi Primary Healthcare Center will also be provided with solar lanterns. This initiative reflects Baobab+’s broader efforts to advance clean energy and support better health outcomes.
