Daniel Bwara’s special advisor on policy communications to President Bora Tinubu advised former Labour party member Valentine Ozigbo and his former presidential candidate Peter Obi to join All Progressives Congress (APC). .
Naija News reported that Ozigbo resigned from the Labour Party on Wednesday. According to him, his resignation should be viewed as a moment of celebration, not an uncertainty.
He added that his resignation was about his desire to bring prosperity to the people of Anambra and the nation.
“Recent events have revealed one thing. It’s time for us to build something new, something bold, something that speaks to the hopes and aspirations of all Anambra sons and daughters.
“That’s why, after deep reflection and broad consultations, I chose to go on a different path. It’s not about the party’s line, but about our people. About progress. Real to our great state On the movement that brings about transformation,” his letter read in part.
Reacting on his handle on Wednesday, Bwala advised him to join the APC. He also advised former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi, to switch to APC.
“My brother and friend Mazi Valentine Ojigbo welcomes your resignation from the Labour Party as a bold and progressive move.
“We would also like to kindly invite you to join our party, All Progressive Congress (APC), the largest party in Africa.
“We also want to expand our invitation to Peter Obi to help Nigeria move forward and join us in renewing the wishes of our people,” he writes.
