The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has selected Malian referee Godfrey Philippe Nkananga to referee the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Libya. The match is scheduled to be held on Friday, October 11th at 5pm Nigerian time at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
Nkananga will be supported by fellow Malian referees Clemence Kanduku and Joseph Nyauti. Keabetswe Dingwa, a Botswanan national, will be the fourth board member.
Other key appointments for the match include Munkaira Nassam Adamu from Ghana serving as match commissioner and Issaka Boubakar from Niger serving as referee evaluator. Mayowa Akbemisile was appointed as the broadcasting venue manager.
