The delegation, through the President of the State, Comrade Ayodeji Adeyemo, called on President Tinubu to intervene in various lingering issues between the Federal Ministry of Works and the Federation of Construction Industry (FOCI) to save the construction industry. “Regarding the security situation, we have heard that some of our members have been kidnapped in their homes and even on site, so I think the construction workers are even more severely affected in this regard,” Adeyemo added.
He advised the association’s members to properly prepare for retirement, with particular emphasis on health, investments and savings.
