When Spotify Wrapped was released on Wednesday (December 4), music fans quickly took to social media to share their listening habits throughout the year, including their favorite songs, albums, and artists.
American singer-songwriter Camila Cabello also joined the bandwagon on Thursday (December 5), revealing Spotify Wrapped on her Instagram Story, and there were some interesting discoveries.
Surprisingly, Camila’s top five most streamed songs are all Afrobeats, with Crayon’s “Ijo (Laba Laba)” leading the way, followed by Maleek Berry’s “Kontrol” and Rema’s “Charm”. It continued. This shows that this famous pop star was an Afrobeat “girly”.
The former Fifth Harmony member made the confession herself in the caption of her Instagram Stories, where she posted Spotify Wrapped. “She wants to hear Afrobeats,” he wrote.
