All Progressives Congress (APC) leader Jestega Onokpasha has criticized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the appointment of Daniel Bwala, former campaign aide to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.
Naija News reports that Daniel Bwala, who was recently appointed as Special Adviser on Media and Public Communication, was reappointed as Special Adviser on Policy and Communication on Monday night.
In a video shared online, Onokpasha was furious at Bwala’s appointment, recalling how the former Atiku aide insulted Tinubu and the APC chief during the 2023 operation.
Mr Onakpasa alleged that Mr Tinubu had humiliated and stabbed those who worked hard for his victory at the polls.
“Dear President, Awaju Bola Tinubu, Dear President, I am so angry with you. Daniel Bwala, the person who insulted you and called you a drug dealer, a drug lord, you are the worst of all of us. How could they appoint someone like that who stabbed us in the back and humiliated us by appointing someone who ignored us and insulted us all during the election campaign?
“What happened, Your Excellency, what happened? You attacked Yahaya Bello, you attacked El Rufia, and you deserted Fani-Kayode. We supported you. We supported you. I don’t need a promise from you. My Lord Jesus always cares for me. That’s the story of my life.
“I don’t need anything from you. But it’s very unfortunate that you stab us in the back like this and bring in an interesting character, a crooked character, a character who doesn’t know where he is. You On what basis did you appoint us? It was we who put you in power. God used us to put you in power.”
