Nigerian music star David will appear in a remix of South African artist Pilate, Ego Slimflow and Tebogo G. Mashego’s popular song, Bibi Malun.

The news came from an exciting fan video featuring dance dance online in the remix.
The original song, released in November 2024, focuses on South African artists. Davido and Focalistic have previously worked on hit songs such as Ke Star Remix and Champion Sound. This remix was David’s first collaboration in 2025 and comes before his new album, 5ive.
David is not used to working with South African artists. He has worked with Mafikizolo (Tchelete), DJ Buckz and Uhuru (The Sound) and the nasty C (juiceback) in the past. Bibi Marung is already extremely popular, winning over 17 million streams on Spotify. David’s poems are expected to make the song even bigger.
2025 is set to be a big year for David. He is preparing to release his fifth album, 5ive, on March 15th. The album includes songs such as Awuke (featuring Yg Marley) and Funds (featuring Odumodublvck and Chike). Omaha Ray also confirmed that he will be on the album.
