Popular Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has remained silent despite being called a talentless freak by Nigerian Grammy Award winning singer, Ayo Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reported that Davido started the drama through his social media handle, announcing his first single of 2024 and revealing that the song will be a hit.
At the same time, Wizkid wrote on his X page without any provocation: Please give Una a little break!
Although Wizkid did not mention Davido’s name, the singer’s fans felt that the tweet was a direct attack on Davido.
A Davido fan wrote, “So if you don’t have beef, @davido’s songs won’t sell??”
To this, Wizkid said: We all know he’s a weirdo! No talent! ”
Wizkid’s follow-up tweet suggested that his message was directed at Davido.
The singer further dismissed Davido’s vast record archive, calling it “garbage” and claiming that his catalog contains good songs.
Furthermore, he added: “80 rubbish! We’ve got 80 albums of whatever songs you guys drop! Assholes!”
Davido, who is also active on social media, completely ignored Wizkid and chose not to say anything.
