Tony de Sorge’s innings in charge ended on Wednesday at 177 as South Africa won 413-5 against Bangladesh in Ranchi on the second day of the second and final Test.

Left-arm spinner Taijul Islam flattened the stump of David Bedingham’s leg and ended a 116-run stand for three wickets with De Sorge at 386, pinning the visiting team with three wickets in three overs. .
