The last three months of the year are usually Nigeria’s creative arts season, packed with cultural events, awards, performances, concerts, and book clubs. A new entrant has joined the list.
The festival bug continues to spread across the country, with another premium business and entertainment event joining the growing list.
Delta Festival (Delfest 2024) will be held from November 22nd to 24th at The Dome Event Center, Opanam Road, Asaba City. The content will be a fusion of business, entertainment, and youth development.
Founder and Director Etemena Rafael Obrique explained that talent development is at the heart of Delfest, with a training platform for young people in technological innovation, filmmaking and music production.

Apart from networking sessions, seminars on business performance rubrics and exhibitions of products and services, training for young people will also be held. Those interested will receive training in film production and innovative technology skills at the Delta State Tech Hub, as well as talent discovery in music and other fields.
Obrique noted that Delfest is also a young talent identification platform for hands-on training with industry experts in collaboration with the Delta State Ministry of Trade and Youth Development, the Ministry of Arts and Tourism, and the Governor’s Office. More than 450 youth from 25 local governments across the state will be trained in innovative technology, music and film skills.
The business section of the festival will feature six business seminar sessions on how to grow your business and make it profitable for venture capitalists.
Mr Obryke explained that the Festival’s Business Amplify Summit will help businessmen develop their capabilities and generate more business in Delta State.
Seminars include “Customer Service” with Dr. Maxwell Roko, “How to Sell in Nigeria”, “Leadership and Business Strategy” with Dr. Linus Okolie, and “Business and Law – Legality in Business” with Dr. Rockson Igerige. , and “Business and Law.” “Your Health” and “Business and Technology – AI Phenomena” with Dr. Koba.
