Egypt Project Operations & Maintenance (EPROM) has signed a cooperation agreement with Nigerian company NETCO Limited, marking an important milestone in the company’s global expansion strategy.
This partnership aims to strengthen Egypt-Nigeria ties in the oil sector and paves the way for EPROM to establish a strong presence in Nigeria and the broader African market.
The agreement is also in line with the directives of Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and supports the ministry’s strategy to encourage oil sector companies to expand internationally.
As part of the cooperation programme, officials from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and a delegation from NETCO visited the Middle East Refinery (MIDOR) and met with MIDOR Chairman and CEO Sarah Gabbar and others. They were welcomed by company officials.
The Nigerian delegation praised the cooperation between EBROM and MIDOR, the operational efficiency and performance of EBROM in the MIDOR project, and noted that the company complies with the highest international standards on safety and occupational health.
Under the auspices and support of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), EBROM aims to expand its services regionally and globally by leveraging its expertise and qualified technical staff .
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the MOC Forum at EBROM’s headquarters in the Alexandria oil complex. The signing ceremony was attended by Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) Chairman Salah El-Din Abdel Karim Awad, EPROM Chairman and CEO, NNPC Refinery Director Hossam Assad, and a delegation from NETCO. attended.
