Fellowship have released “Dawnbreaker”, the first single from their new album, The Skies Above Eternity, which will be released on November 22nd via Scarlet Records.
“Dawnbreaker” is a song of rebellion and a desire for freedom, with a beat that gives the listener hope, drive, and ambition. We all have times when the world feels completely dark. There, neither light nor sound can penetrate the walls we build to protect ourselves or hide within. When we stay in the dark long enough, our eyes adapt and our pupils grow larger. The end result is an “iron eye” that is pitch black and hungry for any trace of light to shine through the dark world.
Fellowship was an absolute power metal revelation of 2022 with their excellent debut album The Saberlight Chronicles. After successfully bringing positive vibes to their shows in Europe and Japan, and taking to the American stage for the first time as headliners at Mad With Power Fest on August 2nd, the British band are currently Ready to take things to the next level with their second album.
Recorded again by Richard Campbell at Orpheus Studios, mixed and mastered by Alexander Backlund and Ricardo Borges at Fascination Street Studios, with stunning artwork courtesy of Hungarian master Peter Szalai. “The Skies Above Eternity” is a journey to a new side of eternity. fellowship sound.
Darker and more dynamic, yet retaining the sense of joy of classic Fellowship, this album tells a new story that delves into a deeper sense of melancholy, with themes of powerlessness and resistance, and its uplifting feel. asks us to find joy in the darkest places through. , the powerful chorus rings out, reminding us that with every new day comes new hope. Because all you have to do to find it is look up at the sky above your head.
Drawing more from Japanese power metal influences and delivering a non-stop banger from start to finish, this could be the record that catapults Fellowship into the stars.
“Eternal Sky” will be released in the following formats:- Digipack CD- Vinyl LP: 350 Marble Silver (retail only), 150 Marble Purple (mail order only)- Digital
