Nigerian music stars, Femi Kuti, Bella Shmurda and CDQ on Thursday thrilled the crowd with an unforgettable performance at the ongoing “Felabration” music concert at the New Africa Shrine in Lagos.
The current concert will begin on October 14th and end on October 20th with the theme of “Watch and Laugh.”
The concert is an annual music festival that commemorates and celebrates Afrobeats legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

Mr. Siji Bello, a student, expressed his excitement to attend the concert, saying that attending the concert relaxes both mind and body.
“I had never had the chance to see Femi Kuti live before, so as soon as I heard about this event I decided to go here.His performance was incredible. I’m enjoying every moment and I hope it doesn’t end and I can experience more,” he said.
Amina Momo, who attended the event with her female friends, emphasized that new artists should focus on mastering live performance instead of relying on miming.
“A new generation of artists needs to learn how to perform live rather than miming on stage.
“Live performances have a unique energy, as Femi Kuti showed us tonight. Live shows bring a different vibe and we were dancing all night long.”
Joseph Attah also expressed how uplifting this performance was for him.
“This performance was great and helped me mentally too, especially as the last few days have been tough. It really helped calm my mind.
“Events like this are a refreshing change of pace, so I was hesitant because of the distance, but I’m glad I was able to go,” he said.
