The Nigerian Air Force has announced that five members have died in a traffic accident.
The Director of Air Force Public Affairs and Information, Olusola Akinboyeva, made the announcement in a statement posted on the Air Force’s official X handle.
Air Commodore Akinboyewa said the accident occurred on Tuesday along “Hawan Kibo along the Jos-Akwanga Expressway”.
He said the affected employees were “on their way to a sporting event in Abuja when their car collided with an oncoming vehicle.”
