The Labor Party’s (LP) Lagos governorship candidate for the 2023 elections, Gbadebo Rose-Bivour, has denied recent rumors that he is planning to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement shared through her X account on Wednesday, Rose Vibour said reports about her intention to join the APC are false.
He also described the APC as a bunch of evil people and a bunch of clowns, adding that joining the APC had never crossed his mind.
Rose Vivour said he is different from some people who lead protests against those in power, then turn around and get reappointed by those in power.
He stressed that joining the APC will never materialize as he needs some manpower to keep the government on guard.
While sharing a video, the 2023 LP governorship candidate said, “The rumors being spread that I will join the APC are false. To me, there is no reason to join the fellowship of a gathering of miscreants and a congregation of clowns. there is no.
“As I have done since the beginning of my political career, I stand firmly behind those who deserve better than what the APC has provided over the past 24 years.”
