Ikenga Ugotinyere, the House of Representatives member for Ideato North-South constituency, has praised Ghana’s opposition forces for the victory of Ghana’s President-elect John Mahama in Saturday’s presidential election.
Imo Ugotinyere regrets that the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) failed to take the right stand in confronting the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement on Sunday, he said PDP politicians had no moral right to celebrate Mr Mahama’s victory.
He further accused the PDP National Chairman, Mr. Umaru Damagum, and the National Secretary, Mr. Samuel Anyau, of holding hands with the ruling APC.
“Just a few hours ago, in Ghana, the opposition defeated the ruling government on its way to bringing John Mahama back to power, but in Nigeria, opposition leaders and some leaders are less hungry for land and small amounts of cash. publicly support the ruling government and support the opposition party. He is working closely with ministers in the ruling APC government, including some of the governors. It is now officially recognized as stupid and shameless in Nigeria, which is the same stupidity with which Nigeria misgoverns its people. Shame! Shame!
“No member of the PDP should celebrate the victory of the opposition in Ghana by looking at the acting chairman Damagun of the PDP and the fraudster/usurper called Secretary Samuel Anyau alongside the Nigerian opposition leaders, especially a few governors. No. Some opposition parties have openly worked for the victory of the ruling APC and have signed a document calling for the destruction of the ruling APC. appointing them to the board of directors, showing more loyalty to APC government ministers than the party constitution, etc. The PDP may be at the mercy of shameless and hungry political scoundrels (sic),” he said. wrote.
