Pade Durotoy, Managing Director of Nigeria’s Savannah Energy Company, who accompanied Minister Uquo on his visit, said the company has invested US$1.6 billion in gas processing and transportation infrastructure through Accugas Limited since 2014 to support the domestic market. Durotoye says: “Accugas is investing an additional USD 45 million in a new compression system at the Uquo facility, which will enable the company to continue to provide reliable gas supplies to its customers for many years to come.
