Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi State has called on the Ebira community in Ondo State to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
Governor Ododo said Governor Ayedatiwa will ensure that the Ebira community in the state enjoys the benefits of democracy if re-elected.
The Kogi State Governor said this in Owo language as he led members of the Ebira community to support Aiyedatiwa.
“We, the entire Ebira community across Ondo State, have resolved to support and vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming elections in the state,” he said.
Ododo noted that the APC gubernatorial candidate deserves support as he continues the legacy of the late Rotimi Akeredolu.
“Governor Ayedatiwa, Ebira community stands with you. We are here united because we believe in continuity. Since the passing of the late Governor Akeredolu, you all have upheld his legacy and supported him. has continued the good work started.
“You have been tested and trusted, so we support you 100 percent. The people of Ebira are firmly working with you and we will ensure victory on November 16,” Governor Ododo said. added.
In his address, the Ondo State governor promised to continue to provide good governance to the Ondo people, including the Ebira people in the state.
He added that the elections were free and fair, which was in line with President Bola Tinubu’s wishes.
“President Tinubu has shown continuous interest in the progress of our country. Since taking office, he has never wavered in his support for us,” The Nation newspaper quoted him as saying.
