The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) on Monday night confirmed the arrest of controversial cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky, at the Seme border.
DIC Public Relations Officer KT Udo said in a statement on the night of October 21 that Bobrisky, a person of interest, was arrested while attempting to flee Nigeria.
The statement read: “The Nigerian Immigration Service intercepted Idris Okuneye (Bobrisky) at the Seme border as he attempted to flee the country.
“The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) has kept its commitment to border security and intercepted Okunne Idris Olarewaju, also known as Bobrisky, at the Seme border as he was attempting to leave the country.
“Authorities would like to inform the public that Okunye Idris is a person of interest regarding recent public concerns. He is being investigated and will be handed over to the appropriate authorities for further action.” It is planned
