The leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamu Garba, has sparked controversy after claiming that former US President Barack Obama orchestrated a “palace coup” against President Joe Biden.
Garba used his X handle to report on his allegations on Thursday, claiming that Obama played a pivotal role in undermining Biden’s candidacy in the Democratic primary.
Mr. Garba said Mr. Obama “stole” the victory from Mr. Biden and facilitated his victory over Vice President Kamala Harris.
The APC stalwart further suggested that Ms. Harris should attribute her crushing defeat in the November 5 presidential election to Mr. Obama’s influence.
“People like former President Barack Obama seem to make black people extraordinarily cheap and resentful in the eyes of the world,” Garba said.
“After eight years as president of the greatest country in the world, Obama still refuses to stop campaigning, staying on the front lines and taking sides. This is in contrast to the fact that more than 40 men have served as president since its founding.
“They all retired and stopped active political participation and became politicians. But Mr. Obama chose a different path.
“His desire for power and control is immense. He campaigned for Hillary, but Hillary lost. He had some hidden issues with Biden. Even if he Even with their vices, it is on record that Biden and Obama have little agreement on many issues, which means Biden won on terms with only a fraction of Obama’s support.
“Biden tried to control the Biden presidency, but as a veteran of the U.S. public service, I asked President Obama to let me run the presidency in peace. He had to back out and leave Biden alone. Ta.
“As a result, he spearheaded a palace coup against Biden and handed his primary victory over to his daughter and protégé, Kamala. He campaigned vigorously for her, but she also I lost.
“Mr. Obama saw the presidency as showbiz. He always stands up and speaks, and he won’t stop speaking even after serving two consecutive terms with the support of the American people.

“To some extent, the resentment toward Obama among Americans, especially blacks, Hispanics, Asians, and other minorities, is what is causing Kamala Harris to lose by a tremendous percentage.
“Obama undermined his race, his African roots, and his integrity.
“If Kamala is looking for someone to blame for her catastrophic failure, she should point all 10 fingers at Barack Obama.”
