Controversial Nigerian comedian, Oluwaseitan Aretaile, also known as Seyi Law, has revealed how he burnt shoes that were used to monitor him at home.
In a series of posts through the micro-blogging platform X (formerly Twitter), the 41-year-old man said that while he was praying about items in his house that were being used to monitor him, He says God opened his eyes.
Seyi Lo responded to a tweet from a businessman warning people against receiving mirrors as gifts, explaining that he later realized it was a pair of shoes someone had given him.
Via X he wrote: “I wish it was just a mirror to keep an eye on someone. You have to be very careful with gifts.
“On March 2, 2016, I was at a wake in my room and as I was praying, God told me that there was something in my house that was being used to keep an eye on me. , I found out that it was a shoe that someone had given me. My wife took it out and burned it. Until that day, I always doubted people who said God spoke to them.
“About 5 a.m. on March 3rd, I was woken up from my sleep by a voice telling me to write down what I was hearing. I wrote it, and when my eyes cleared and I read what I had written, I turned around and told my wife I was pregnant, and she doubted it until we confirmed it a few days later.
“Switching story, we had a daughter, and on the day of her dedication, the Prophet removed the thing that God had been using to keep an eye on me in my house. I told him he would never step foot in my house again, even if I asked him to. I am forever grateful to him.
“My beloved daughter is proof that God is our own in my home. A mini-copy of my mother. They tried to kill her in the womb, but God said no. After she was born, they mocked her, but God gave her beauty for their ashes. To God Almighty, I return all the glory. Oh nim wa oh. Amen.
