Nigeria’s former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, has described Rivers State Governor Similai Hubara as the man who restored the glory of the oil-rich state, saying, “He is the Moses of our time.”
Naija News reported that Mr. Atiku made the remarks in Port Harcourt through one of his aides, Mr. Atiku. “Today, we thank Almighty God for choosing to add to the many blessings of Rivers State by appointing His Excellency Similai Hubara as the Governor of this great state.
“One of the scriptural stories common to both major religions in Nigeria is the story of Moses. God was favorable to the people of Israel and sent Moses to rescue them from the evil of Pharaoh.
“The main lesson of the story of Moses is that Moses grew up in the palace of Pharaoh. Anyone who is familiar with that story knows that Governor Hubara is today’s Moses and that the people of Rivers State are God’s You know it’s a people.
