It was announced today that stage and screen star Hugh Jackman will perform 12 concerts at Radio City Music Hall in 2025. His new show, titled “From New York with Love,” will begin on weekends in January and return one weekend a month from April through August.
Before Jackman was Wolverine, he was Carly, the good-natured hero of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma. A 1998 revival of the show in London made Jackman a household name in the lead role, but the plucky Australian never abandoned his musical theater roots. He won a Tony Award in 2004 for his role as countryman Peter Allen in the biomusical The Boy from Oz, and will return to Broadway theaters as con artist Harold Hill in 2022’s The Music Man. did. During that time, he appeared in the concert show Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway. On screen, he sang his heart out in Les Misérables and The Greatest Showman. On television, he has hosted the Tony Awards four times and showcased his singing and dancing talents.
Jackman is an old-school entertainer and his new show is set to be a big event. “From New York with Love,” which looks back on his career to date, includes favorites from “The Boy from Oz,” “The Greatest Showman,” and “The Music Man,” as well as selected works from his career. Contains other songs. Following the debut weekend on January 24th and 25th, the dates will be April 18th-19th, May 23rd-24th, June 20th-21st, July 18th-19th, and August 15th. To get your tickets, register for advance sales starting Tuesday, October 15th at 10 a.m. ET on the From New York, with Love website. Tickets will go on sale to the general public three days later on Friday, October 18th at 10am ET.
