Superstar singer Ira Star has been crowned Nigeria’s Top Female Artiste of 2024, as announced by Nigeria’s leading music charts publication, Turntable. This achievement reflects her huge success on streaming platforms, radio and television broadcasts throughout the year.

The 22-year-old singer has had an outstanding year thanks to her second album, The Year I Turned 21. The album features big Nigerian stars like Asake and Seyi Vivez, as well as Givion, Coco Jones and Anita. This album became one of the most famous albums of 2024.
Her hits “Comma” and “Bad Vibes” (featuring Seyi Vibez) were among the most streamed tracks of the year. In addition, Rvssian’s guest appearance on “Santa” increased streaming numbers, and her album achieved over 700 million plays on Spotify, making it Nigeria’s most streamed album of the year.
Ira Star ended the year with a memorable performance at Flytime Fest, where she shared the stage with music legends Tiwa Savage and Rema.
