American singer and actress Jennifer Lopez has broken her silence about her second breakup with ex-husband Ben Affleck, which nearly cost her life.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reported that the 55-year-old singer broke up in April after two years of marriage and a second attempt to mend their relationship following their first breakup in 2004.
The couple filed for divorce on August 20, their second wedding anniversary.
During a feature on Interview Magazine, Lopez revealed that her divorce almost wiped her out for good.
The singer added that she has no regrets about marrying Affleck.
she said. “Not for a second. That doesn’t mean I didn’t make it forever. It almost happened.
“But now I’m on the other side of it and I think to myself, ‘Damn, that’s exactly what I needed.’ Thank you, God. I’m sorry it took so long. I’ve had this happen so many times. I’m sorry for making you do this.
“You should have learned that a couple times ago. I get it. You had to hit me really hard over the head with a fucking sledgehammer. You left me home. You don’t have to do that again.” ”
