According to West, the scam included posting fake promotions on his social media accounts, followed by allegations that his account had been hacked. This would potentially lead to financial losses for his fans who may have been the victim of fraud.
West went to Twitter to share his experiences and said, “I proposed $2 million to scam the community. Left of them. Their people who said no and proposed it. I stopped working with him.”
To demonstrate his claim, West shared a screenshot that outlines a plan to promote “fake currency.” The plan revealed that West would receive a $750,000 advance payment to promote the eight-hour cryptocurrency, followed by allegations that his account had been hacked. The subsequent $1.25 million payments will be made in 16 hours.
