Pioneering young fashion designer Liz Sanya has achieved an extraordinary milestone by completing her Guinness World Record attempt for the world’s largest sandal.
Her creation, a pair of bold pink clogs measuring an astonishing 4.8 meters (15 feet 9 inches) in length, was painstakingly crafted in Lagos over three days. This monumental project is full of energy from fans and celebrities including music stars Mayorkun, Felts, P. Prime and Taves, as well as music entrepreneur Bizulu Oshikoya, film director Koti and many others. The journey to this incredible feat began on January 2nd at 5pm and ended on January 4th after 72 hours of grueling dedication and craftsmanship. Looking back on this accomplishment and her undying passion for design, Liz shares her heartfelt thoughts:
