Progressive filmmaker Michael Moore called on President Biden to use the remainder of his term to enact a host of liberal policies “with the stroke or two of the president’s pen.”
“Some are now calling you a ‘lame duck’ president, but what I’m reminded of today is that we’re not done yet,” Moore wrote. “There are still 100 days left in your term!”
“You answer to no one,” he added. “For the first time in over 50 years, you don’t have to campaign for anything. You’re the opposite of a lame person, Joe. And you’re no duck.”
“The Supreme Court just gave you superpowers and immunities!” Moore wrote, mocking the Supreme Court’s July ruling that presidents cannot be prosecuted for acts in their official capacity.
The director of documentaries such as “Fahrenheit 9/11” says, “You are the President of the United States and you have tremendous power for the next 100 days. We are the only ones you have to answer to. The people who took me there.”
“With one or two strokes of the presidential pen, we can improve the lives of millions of people in ways we never dreamed possible,” Moore continued. “You will leave the White House a hero.”

Moore laid out a list of 13 bucket lists, including policies such as canceling all student loan debt and medical debt for all Americans. He also criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, telling Biden to stop “funding genocide” in the Israel-Hamas war.
“How many times can you violate the red line before you get tired of it? How many times can Prime Minister Netanyahu flaunt your rules, ignore your advice, and spit in your face?” Moore wrote. “He came into our home, the people’s home, and spewed hatred and violence from where you normally stand.”
Moore also addressed criminal justice issues, calling on Biden to abolish the death penalty and the “vacant federal death row.”

The filmmaker had previously advocated for Biden to withdraw from the race and for Harris to become the Democratic presidential nominee.
Most recently, the documentary filmmaker has slammed Democrats who are panicking about the close 2024 presidential race and how people on the left believe former President Trump could win the election. He admitted that he was stunned.
“Democrats, they’re a very scary group,” Moore said in a CNN interview Monday. “So they still think Trump is going to win.”
