MusiCares provides relief to music professionals affected by hurricane

MusiCares, the Recording Academy’s nonprofit organization that provides health, financial, and rehabilitation resources to the music community, is providing assistance to those in the music industry affected by Hurricanes Helen and Milton.

For more than 30 years, MusiCares has helped the industry in times of need, from the Route 91 shooting in Las Vegas and the COVID-19 pandemic to Superstorm Sandy, Hurricane Katrina, and the California and Maui wildfires. Ta.

“MusiCares is committed to ensuring that music professionals don’t feel alone during this crisis,” said Laura Segura, MusiCares Executive Director. “Our swift and compassionate disaster relief response allows disaster survivors to focus on rebuilding their lives without further fear of losing their livelihoods. We are committed to supporting them every step of the way. I’m here.”

The organization’s comprehensive support includes emergency financial assistance, mental health and emotional support, medical and housing resources, and assistance with basic living expenses.
