“Nigeria’s impressive economic achievements are a source of great pride. By 2024, the country has emerged as one of Africa’s largest economies, driven by growth in sectors such as agriculture, creative industries and the digital economy. “Nigeria remains Africa’s most populous country, with a population of more than 220 million,” he said.
The NACCIMA chief also said Nigeria’s active role in UN peacekeeping and regional integration efforts through ECOWAS and the AU is evidence of Nigeria’s growing international influence.
The association noted that despite economic headwinds, it is hopeful that the private sector will continue to drive Nigeria’s growth and development through collaboration, innovation and nation-building efforts.
